- No, EA haven't forced us to change passwords! If you can't log in the system suggests logging out and then using the change password link. I did that for one account, an account I had just created. It didn't solve the problem for me at the time. The next day the changed password worked ok in the original browser. I've also had problems logging into Origin. The normal log in screen is probably actually linked to the same place as Origin to retrieve the data.

- iguanaworld4 years agoNew AceAnd once again they have "locked" my account to have to change the password.
But problems, persist: - iguanaworld4 years agoNew AceNew message: Your account was blocked for your security. :-(

Ha, ha, ha, I attempt to change password and...
All in Chrome. - iguanaworld4 years agoNew AceToday the account was blocked again but this time the password reset has worked and it seems that I can play again.
EA, I'm really telling you, you don't need to keep creating so many problems for your customers. - I had the same message with a link. The link opens in the default browser and changed appeared to work. However, I don't know which account it worked on but it wasn't the one that I expected!
I copied the link and tried to open it in Iron but got the same listing appear as you posted.
I'm guessing the password reset was applied to the last account I opened in Edge so will have to remember the password I set it to until I find it!
From the wording of the message they're noticing multiple accounts from the same machine in quick succession which may impact the WCS where alts are heavily used by players. - This problem is messing up many worlds. Some of actually have alts. Worse, the alts cannot even be logged via substitution as they are stated as "inactive."
- iguanaworld4 years agoNew AceAnd another one more time...
Technical difficulties, password reset ...
Again technical difficulties, again password reset ..
Technical difficulties continue, yet another password reset ...
And go on for a while ...
In other words, if EA has technical problems, why are you resetting my password instead of fixing your problems? - I don't think they are having 'technical problems'!
I suspect it is a deliberately misleading error message as they have noticed multiple logins from the same computer/location/IP address (or however they're detecting it). I suspect they don't wish to indicate the true 'issue' is that they think there may be an attempt to compromise security on one or more accounts with multiple attempts taking place quickly from the same location.
This has enormous implications for those playing with ALTs on the WCS and elsewhere. Alts are supposedly allowed, but this will effectively prevent them for some. - iguanaworld4 years agoNew AceOne more thing right now...
Technical problems, reset password.
Technical problems, reset password.
Technical problems, reset password.
...
After about six attempts I get "Login is not available. Please try again later."
To rest because these incompetent team from EA spoil it more and more.
