The reason for asking his location because of the current European war. I suspect that EA are part of the worldwide exodus from trading with Russia and the Ukraine could be caught up in this.
If this is the case, then I doubt that there is any solution for you. Stay safe, stay sane!
EDIT: The advice I've been given is "For this to solve the player needs to establish a real-time-communication with the support either via chat or telephone." - of course in the Ukraine that isn't as simple as it is in the UK or Germany!
