Inactive status of the player is published - but it shouldn't be like that
You can see the inactive state of a player - even from out of his/her team. This way, enemy can make attack-plans easier, no need of observation. prntscr.com/o5tfng

It maybe not 2 years - but it is certainly not 6 months.
The state of 'inactive' as a rank comes in before the player is actually removed. (I sometimes get confused about these things so could be wrong in the detail, but the principles are correct.)
Ah, I see where my confusion is.
- If the user hasn't logged in the last 6 months, their base(s) self-destruct and their world ranking is reset to 0.
- If the user hasn't logged in the last 2 years(?), they're removed from that world.
