New player bases

I found a layout I wanted. So I put my marker down. The next day when I got on there is a new player circle right next to my marker. So now I can't have that spot. So why are there new player markers showing up after the world is a week old?????????

EA/Origin puts in markers for peeps coming to the world. The new player marker was not on the field when I placed my marker. 12 hours later it appeared. So once again EA/Origin fucks the people that pay their salaries.
Furthermore my message was not all over the place it was straight to the fact of what they did.
I never said anything about a bubble. I found a layout for my 2nd base. I marked the fucker. 12 hours later a new player spot was put next to it.

I assume the 'markers' you're referring to are the ones pointed out in the image. As far as I'm aware, the new player locations are fixed and created at the start of a world and not during the game. I'll check tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure this is the case. I also assume you're referring to Firestorm 10 and the Camp 12 in the diagram is where you want to place your base. You have not indicated the reservation so anyone in your alliance or any other could take it once the new player locations are used.

Also, given that your base is a level 10, and still on the edge of the world, you will have a long time to go before you can drop your 2nd base would be my guess.

Actually I could have dropped it when I posted this message. Plus the only reason I'm on the edge is because that layout is a 6 touch which if you know anything about this game they are few and very rare. But regardless the new player spot was not there when I placed my marker. Also for this world only being for 5k all drop zones should have already been on the map. The one next to my marker WAS NOT THERE when I placed my marker. If it had been there I wouldn't have even bothered putting my marker down.
  • I understand that the markers in the game are a "visual aid" for our team, neither facilitate nor withdraw rights in the game.
The markers of your alliance are only visible to your alliance so it is possible to mark a territory as yours but a player from another alliance can take the space with the same right as you.
And this works the same for all alliances, it has not been established to harm a single player.
  • Hello Commanders,

All landing zones are generated at the start of a world for the max amount of player slots specified for that world. There are no new player spots added after that. Nevertheless, forgotten camps and OPs may spawn among those landing zones as they would anywhere else.

That does not inflict with the blocking radius for base founding. IF you want to expand your territory move forward, not backwards. As stated above, Reservation Markers are a visual aid, one that have no effect on spawns of players or Forgotten or otherwise. They can also only be seen from your alliance peers anyway.
