overheating computer

im concerned. i love playing this game. i have an apple computer and when i attack forgotten on any server it makes my computer over work itself. this computer isn't but a year old and it will do it on my buddies computer as well. for some reason when attacking computer forgotten it makes the fan overwork spinning very fast and heats the computer to extreme levels fast. any thoughts?
  • I don't have an Apple but it seems that this should not be possible, therefore look carefully at all extensions and scripts that you may be using and disable all that are not strictly needed for the operation of your computer. Background programs, not just those associated with browsers, should also be investigated. I can see no reason why the operation of a browser script would 'accidentally' start the fan.

    Hey @huffman420bert36,

first off: the fan starts when there is performance demand (and therefore heat generated within the Mac), that should not concern you. The internal system takes care of itself here and makes sure that everything is within its operating limits.

There is a lot going on in the game and that needs CPU and graphics power. This is normal for almost every game.

If you want to check what is using your performance I suggest you check the "Activity Monitor", it's a built-in tool in macOS X.
  • thank you. the problem stopped and was solved. i forgot to reply here. ty again.
