Piss poor login times, and Firefox lockups

Since changing the login screen it take 3 times longer to log in and now consistently locks up with FireFox.
So far just today it has cost me 3 bases. Chrome and Opera are just as slow and although it doesn't lock up Sims are very laggy

    I've not noticed any difference in Chrome ( I don't use the other 2 browsers) and these forums haven't been swamped with complaints so ..... The usual suggestions first, clear cache, browser history and session files in affected browsers then try again.

    Look to see if there are any background programs running that are slowing down your computer, run a virus & malware checker.

    Your net connection is most likely the main issue... slow speed or too busy.
    Don't use any software for "speed enhancement" as they say... They only eat resources in the end.
    Try a scan with AdwCleaner.

    If u have many programs running in the background, it also affects the game experience... probably because your rig reaches it's capabilities...
    RAM memory might be used at max... avoid that.
