You can purchase packs that increase your storage capacity of repair time so you can have 2d 12h (or more) stored and successfully kill a higher base. The higher your units the longer it takes to repair them, the level of the repair time buildings (factory, airfield etc) affects the repair time needed too. Build them up as high as you can to reduce repair time.
