Oh feck it!
Script does work, but one of the buttons is missing. Button in question: "Disable one unit" (that replaces the game's own "Simulate the attack" button).
I'll have another look a the code later on.
A work around to disable/deactivate a unit - use the "Deactivate units" button from the game's own simulator toolbar.
