Maybe it's too much of a stretch, but....
Instead of showing hyphens to separate the name of the article, could a colon be used?
What if the correct number has not yet been reached and the value has a minus sign in front of it?
Let me get this straight, something like this when you haven't reached the required resources:
TIMER C$ : 27d.19.01
CREDIT: -746.5M / 1B @ 25.3%.
RP: -467.5M / 750M @ 37.7%
I think that way you could understand at a glance that (-) xxx resources are missing.
But I'm saying that's a lot of fine tuning. O:-)
Note: I'm not saying do it, just think about it. ;-)
