Continuous "contacting respawn servers" titanfall 2

I have gone through customer support and they ran through all the troubleshooting tips with me which i have done and still am unable to play multiplayer on titanfall 2. I had purchased this game dec 2016. Back then it worked fine. its been a while since i played. back then it was not on steam. Now i have reinstalled the game a few years later and the game works on campaign but when I try to click on multiplayer it shows a lock and says "contacting respawn servers" continuously. I would really like someone to reach back to me as I was literally told to do this by online support, seeing as they have no more ideas on how to trouble shoot this problem. (i am not complaining about the help i have recieved, they tried their best)
