The fact that Titanfall 2 has been down for MANY weeks now (u can verify on Downdetector) and has not been fixed is making me VERY suspicious that EA/Respawn might be intentionally dragging their feet on this in the hope that TF2 players will switch to their microtransaction game Apex Legends so they can make more money.The attack method/s causing the problem are common & easily fixed as documented in this forum post by a helpful TF2 player here.Does anyone else also feel that EA/Respawn are deliberately dragging their feet on fixing TF2 as having it offline may push its player base over to Apex so they can make more money?BTW my TF2 friends & I will never swap over to Apex as it's just not a game we want to play.

@CoolFerCats Not gonna happen. Battle Royal sucks and the few times I tried that 3on3 mode, I always wondered why I didn't just play TF2 instead which is superior in every way. Uninstalled that game when TF2 was still working and not planning to re-install it ever again.

@CoolFerCats Guys and Gals, the fact the game is still for sale means they have not given up!When it's taken off shelves is when we cry.Its not just Titanfall that's under attack. 1/ It's a much larger problem with servers vulnerable mostly with cloud gaming. 2/ Others with conflicting agendas destroying what little enjoyment we can find. Very sad and dissapointing!Be strong pilots!

I can't speak to AL and its "optimization" - I simply have not, nor will I ever, install and play that game. I hate Battle Royale with a fiery passion that burns in my soul. The only BR I did try was the version in BF:V - and that was only after several of my former BF clan members (from back when you could rent your own servers and ladders were set up that we'd compete in), and I didn't enjoy it. Not even a little bit. I will not play AL. At this point - after being an EA customer since Skate or Die! was the rage in 1982, I'm not going to purchase another EA game. Not even BF2042 which will be the first BF title I haven't pre-ordered. EA doesn't get another dime of my money. Not unless they secure the Titanfall and Titanfall 2 servers.

Still not fixed!... anyone else getting suspicious of EA/Respawn?

tf2 is superior in most ways but apex is better optimized and has better balancing and actual matchmaking lol

tf2 would run way worse than apex if the maps were as big and it had 60 players in one server so lol. but then again none of respawns games run well at all

@Ebilracc That's why there's texture streaming, lod, z-culling etc.
The whole maps is not rendered in Apex o_O

@EbilraccLOL, Apex has horrible hit registration and server lags. I've played on EU servers and most of the times, half my bullets would go right through enemies standing in front of me. Like shooting blanks. Servers would just crawl to a point where it felt like Max Payne bullet time. It looks worse than TF2 and still somehow puts out less FPS if you crank up the graphics beyond tryhard barf mode. All those issues have been there since the begining and were still there when I last played it around May.

And with all the attention it gets, you'd think they'd be able to balance that one weapon everybody hates, the infamous Sh*tfire, at least in this game. But no... the memes just keep coming! "Better balancing"... sure... Apex is complete trash. It might be the best Battle Royal, but all those BR games including PUBG are known for being eternal full price betas with horrible optimization and netcode. So BR players are used to having very low standards. I refunded PUBG on Steam after half an hour of playtime, no problem.

Then why is Apex so successful? The answers:
- Free2play
- Bloated account numbers due to Smurf accounts
- Sponsored Streamer hype
- Easily influenced children spending their parents' allowance just to look cool in a stupid game
- Genre with very low quality standards

Git gud honestly, you just need to learn to aim. i rarely ever get noregs in apex. maybe your packetloss is high? usually helps to use ethernet instead of wifi btw.
of course the game looks worse than tf2, look at the system requirements xd.
also how you gon have a game that looks like tf2 while having massive maps and 60 players in a game????
also why are you expecting to get decent fps on any other settings than the lowest ones??? it’s a respawn game afterall. the spitfire is kinda meh in apex honestly, especially after the nerf lol
