- Ghost bombs are like a nuclear explosion, the screen goes white when you drop one and all the ghost are cleared, pretty dull to be honest.

Ehhh... I still think the meter is rigged. They just decided to not be super obvious and choose to release the prize on Sunday. Zombie cat is unexciting. Ghost bomb is completely worthless and probably took EA a lot more effort to program than an extra walking decoration. 3 billion still sounds steep. I'd rather just skip the ghost bomb all together.
I'm not directing this specifically towards you, marco_rosa833, but can someone tell me why there is so many people believing the community meter is rigged? I would fairly believe it's quite a simple matter for a company like EA to implement some kind of counter as to how many GOOs get collected worldwide... am I wrong?- That Ghost Bomb sounds nice if it means you don't have to go running around looking for ghosts in your Springfield.

Its mainly down to the fact that goo counter is going up so consistantly. Its like nearly the same amount, every single second, without pause. I know theres a lot of players, but surely the amount would vary depending on the time of day?
But it HAS changed... it was "slow" the first few days, and has been increasing in speed until recently. Now it has peaked, and it holds it's peak pace about 9-11 thousand each second. Since so many getting 10.000 GOO just stops trying to get more, I guess we might be seeing a slight decline in the pace about the same time we unlock the Ghost bomb...- I'm not sure whether the meter is rigged or not but I'm betting that since it is so early still in the event that the fifth prize will be 10 billion on it's own. Just my opinion.
- That meter goes up by 8k every second. You do the math.
- People are sure that the second by second uptick is fake because it can be manipulated in various ways and will always revert when you resync with the EA server.
Other people are convinced that the whole count is rigged entirely, but I don't think there is any evidence of that either way. czechgirl3 wrote:

But it doesn't... it went up by 7k-8k the first few days, and now it goes up with a speed of 9k-11k every second. Something has definetely changed. But as I said in my former post, if people reaching 10K GOO stop chasing even more GOO, I suspect we have hit the peak, and the counter might actually start to decrease a little by next week. My guess is we might see a small decrease already by the time we unlock the ghost bombs...- My expectation is the frog prince will require 7B to unlock after the bomb if it has tasks associated with itthus making it a more valuable prize than Snorky.

Why?
Its clear that this isn't an American game... people all over the world play it.
When its 2am on the US East Coast... Europe is just getting their day started. And in California at 11pm, I am still collecting goo as well. By the time London goes to bed, Los Angeles is still mid-day. When should the slow time be?
