Well now you're just asking for too much - AnnathewickedRising Traveler

Now that 2014 is coming to a close, I thought I'd list things I'd like to see added to TSTO in the coming year. I'd like to see what what everyone here would like added to the game! Time to get busy, EA!
1) Some usability tools.
A) Grouping: select an area and group all items into a temporary group. Even better if we could name the group for later use.
B) Batch Move/Store: select multiple items (or a group) to move or store in inventory. Could be a cut/paste.
C) Custom Inventory: create custom inventory categories and assign inventory items to those categories. For example, create a CoC inventory category, and individually assign all CoC items to it.
2) Option to disable Auto Select. Or remove it from the game. Drives me crazy when the game cycles through 15 items when I'm trying to select a tree to move/store.
3) Add dirt/stone paths. Should be able to place items on the paths just like concrete.
4) Town Snapshots. Add a feature which takes a "snapshot" of our town and uploads to a web server. We can share the link or optionally there could be an index of all towns. Another idea could be to add a "Guest Visit" feature that allows us to enter the name of a town we'd like to visit without having to be neighboreenos.
5) Zoom Out. I'd like to be able to zoom all the out to view the entire town. This would be a great help when (re)designing.
And finally last but not least...
6) ADD MORE LAND! Enough said...
What items would you add or remove from the list?
These are all great ideas!
Since lack of land has been linked to older devices, I would like to be able to play this on my computer, which I don't think would struggle any time soon with this game. - I would love all of these but a grouping tool is a must have!

This is a great idea! Maybe have a PC/Mac version that includes the usability features so as not to impact game stability on tablets/phones (although I'd prefer the usability features available on my tablet).NOVA_POLARI wrote:

Seriously!!!- ZennGlennRising NewcomerSolid stuff as always Barry...
Would add Night mode; could be neat to see things all lit up - not to mention once again the Bad Dream House continues to go to waste for Halloween / Holidaze
...as well as more weather; rainy days, and even some funky natural disasters to contend w/which could actually be fun update games as I mentioned in previous threads on the issue; 'The Hurricane', tornado, quake, flood, etc for some rebuilding extravaganzas  - barryriddl474Seasoned Newcomer

Night Mode and weather would be sweet. Don't know if I'd want to deal with natural disasters unless the usability tools were added - definately not during events. Wouldn't want to miss out on or delay event quests because I'm dealing with the Great Springfield Flood of '15 :)- ZennGlennRising NewcomerGlad ya dig the ideas... W/'TheFlood' we can of course get the awesome task of Homer & Bart creating it by earning & tossing welcome matts over storm drains (which of course could be added), followed by Jasper John's & other characters 8)
...oh, & additional tier for Stupid Sexy Flanders ski slope would be better too - Night mode would be great. I'd love to see tasks that can only happen during the day and others during the night. It opens up the possibility for more tasks. Like kids can only go to school during the day.
Selecting a group of things to move would be huge!! I have areas that I've spent hours designing and would like to move them as I get more land but would never even consider moving it one item at a time.
I'd also like a square similar to concrete or water that you can place anywhere in your town and that designates your landing zone so you can move it around to show off different parts of your town.
