I'd also like a square similar to concrete or water that you can place anywhere in your town and that designates your landing zone so you can move it around to show off different parts of your town.
This one is huge! Great idea! Either a ground square or a one-square deco would be great! I'd even pay donuts for this!- I agree with all of them! But will we get them?
Oh, Barszap, who doesn't want night mode? XBL-Heretic wrote:
Now that 2014 is coming to a close, I thought I'd list things I'd like to see added to TSTO in the coming year. I'd like to see what what everyone here would like added to the game! Time to get busy, EA!
1) Some usability tools.
A) Grouping: select an area and group all items into a temporary group. Even better if we could name the group for later use.
B) Batch Move/Store: select multiple items (or a group) to move or store in inventory. Could be a cut/paste.
C) Custom Inventory: create custom inventory categories and assign inventory items to those categories. For example, create a CoC inventory category, and individually assign all CoC items to it.
2) Option to disable Auto Select. Or remove it from the game. Drives me crazy when the game cycles through 15 items when I'm trying to select a tree to move/store.
3) Add dirt/stone paths. Should be able to place items on the paths just like concrete.
4) Town Snapshots. Add a feature which takes a "snapshot" of our town and uploads to a web server. We can share the link or optionally there could be an index of all towns. Another idea could be to add a "Guest Visit" feature that allows us to enter the name of a town we'd like to visit without having to be neighboreenos.
5) Zoom Out. I'd like to be able to zoom all the out to view the entire town. This would be a great help when (re)designing.
And finally last but not least...
6) ADD MORE LAND! Enough said...
What items would you add or remove from the list?
This list is perfect! I wouldn't change anything.
I especially like the town snapshot idea. I don't think it'd be too hard to implement and would really spark some interest in design and sharing towns.- 1) Add sideshow bob as a playable character already!
2) Add dirt roads and maybe different ground cover.
3a) Allow boats, and dock tiles to be placed in rivers.
3b) Allow the river to connect to the ocean.
3c) Allow the beach to be extended.
4) We seriously need more land but that's obvious. I would like more water tiles as well.
5) Add a springfield university event. I think it would work nicely instead of just having a simple level update.
6) Simpler event machanics. Phase 2 of the Christmas event is actually very enjoyable.
I think that about covers what I'd like. - Land and many premium items.

Good list! Could you describe the Springfield University event?- 1. Do something with Krustyland or give us players that spent donuts on items some sort of reward and get rid of it.
2. Reward donut bonus points to players that have invested money in the game and have been long time players.
3. More land. (I had to say it again)
4. Add more tiles to the dock.
5. Set up a profile that auto removes friends that haven't played for so many days.
6. Allow more friends to be added. - All of this is why this needs to be a PC/MAC game. So many more possibilities!

Well I know there are 4 character that are associated with Springfield University so as far as characters go they'd have enough to add.
It can be a spring break event or a back to school event. They can have different buildings for each department. One science, art, law, medical, dorms, etc. as the event progresses we'd get new buildings and characters. They can also add a football field and add a mascot (premium), and cheerleaders. I mean the possibilities are endless. The only thing is, they'd need to add quite a bit of land to accommodate so many new buildings.- Stone paths are great! I'd also like to be able to put some pools in my town. More land and more water would be great. Zoom out more is a must! When characters are prompted to task it would be great to have the choice to have that task disappear once you've met the requirement, for example, send springfielders to beer and brawl x15. So as soon as you've applied 15 to the task it should disappear from other characters task list. It's annoying to put too many on the task by accident or not enough. I also thought a town clock would be cute for vanity and an airport would be great! A pharmacy, toy store, Other buildings to help our towns ratings. I had a million ideas the other night and now I'm drawing blanks lol. My husband is a big fan of krustyland and says bumper cars would be cool seeing as there are debri bumper cars which implies there use to be one. I'm sure I'll think of more! Oh and santas little helper is not worth 150 donuts. They only charge 45 for the k9 dog. He has no tasks And doesn't even give a bonus. They really need to change that.
