- thanks for bringing this to our attention. To all, EA will never ask for your user name and password. Please be very careful.
- someonewashereRising NoviceYou re supposed to check emails now?
What an age we live in, thanks for the heads up.
Hopefully this gets resolved - ^So based on memory, this looks identical to the 26 I received. Only I did NOT request a change to my password, so why the letter? and so many? Did EA have a security breach?

Maybe the mails are authentic. Maybe someone (or something) tried repeatedly to reset the password, triggering the official email??
That's what I was thinking. So why? Could someone be assuming you use the same password for other accounts, and trying to gain access to as many of your account as possible?- UPDATE: if you do get one of the emails, please do not click the link just in case. It looks a tad suspect and I want to be sure where these things are coming from.
- Just got one too. Seems more like their system is throwing a hissy fit than someone trying to break in to accounts.
- I just got 2 of them, happened right after I signed in to the forums.
I don't think it is a phishing attempt. The emails are coming from EA@e.ea.com - Can someone "view source" on one of these emails and post it? I'd love to look at the raw links and email headers.
Pls and thanks.
