Sims 3 Launcher will not accept my email and password

Title and the same email and password works on the sims 3 store and ea app and here and has worked on my sims 3 launcher before. I have tried clearing browser data and caches. i really want to keep the house i made, it is why I am trying to log in in the launcher to begin with, I usually don't care if I am logged in while playing.

  • ziresia  What do you mean that you want to keep the house you made?  There's nothing about the launcher login that should affect what houses you use, and you don't even need to login to use the Exchange most of the time.  Nor are there any other features that depend on this login.

Having said that, if you do want to be able to login to the launcher, try clearing Edge's Internet Explorer-mode data and deleting [your email].bin, inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3.  If this doesn't or didn't help, change your password and repeat.  The new password should contain only letters and numbers, no special characters.

I meant in case I ever need to uninstall and reinstall the games, I want to keep the house still by uploading it to he exchange.

    I'll try that next, thanks.

  • ziresia  Your saves and any other user data—saved households and builds, mods and custom content, saved patterns, etc.—are stored in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3.  If you back up this folder, you shouldn't lose anything, and in fact it shouldn't be deleted even when you uninstall the game.  But backups are good to have in general, not just when uninstalling; you never know when you'll run into computer trouble.

I would trust my own backups before the Exchange for a few reasons, but you can also use both.
