yes would be better, but anything would be better than the golden box! - Depends how long you've been playing and what they might add. I often only have a couple of the items that came out as spend real money items but it could be more than 50 for a newer player or someone who doesn't farm or spend donuts on things often and that means you'd need to either be lucky with the free token or spend an absolute fortune on tokens.
Because the GGR is the only premium item that you really can't do without then it should be a permanent feature now and available as a simple just buy it item.
I get that when they first introduced the token only tiles they wanted to make it a rarity but that no longer applies and there have been players who've built a huge town only to quit when they ran out of room and couldn't do anything to get that extra land.
Even my 2 month old town could do with having it now, already got about a third of the cash tiles and if I don't start earning tokens soon then that will become a problem before the year is out. - BafancHero+

How bad is the golden box?
The gold box is the top of the range of Black Friday boxes. Initially it contained a selection of prizes, originally obtainable during some events, as a bonus for buying donuts from the store. However, this year it really contained a lot of stuff, not always first choice. The problem is that golden box prizes can only be obtained by using gold tokens; these tokens, except for one free one, are obtained by spending real money on the purchase of donuts from the store (obviously on Black Friday). THUS, the golden goose thus became a paid prize, with no certainty of getting it. Perhaps it would have been better to pay for it, rather than a random prize in a paid raffle - 4junk3000New Spectator

Any box that puts your one desired item into a mix with a half dozen other unneeded things, is a bad box indeed. It's just a trap for wasting all your tokens "Cousigames;c-2228867" wrote:
Is it possible that the golden goose realty will be in a mystery box that will require reasonable amounts of donuts rather than cash or shattered dreams tokens? I remember in the previous black Friday there were a lot of items you could get with donuts.
Anything is possible but until it happens we'll not know anything about it as EA tend to keep their cards close to their chest.- As the OP can I remind everyone this is a thread asking for it to be easily available in store.
Not stuck in a box, nope, never. Bad idea so please don't discuss like it's ok !!
That is in fact part of the problem, last time it showed up it was in a box making it harder to get
Put it in store EA, so anyone can buy it when they need it, that's what this thread is for
( Don't give 'em ideas like that peeps ? ) - bluntcardNew TravelerI have all of the land and so much of it is empty and yet I am always teetering on the edge of the item limit. I think everyone should have access to all the available land but we also need to sort out the item limit because it's pointless to have all the land that you can't fill. I choose not to use all decorations unless they fit with what I'm doing, but still to be so close to the limit with so much empty land seems unbalanced.
- @bluntcard - I get that, but in my case my plans include spacing things out and even my 2 month old town already has 192 of the 644 land tiles for cash and 18 of 87 Ocean tiles including the free ones.
By the time it's 3 months old I expect to have 270 of 644 land tiles and 38 of 87 Ocean tiles and it won't be long after that I'd be looking to expand into the token only areas.
In order to do that I'd need to get the GGR making tokens very soon.
My older towns would benefit from an item limit increase though, to better decorate what I have rather than store a whole heap of 'em in case I can use them later.
