A Rigellian Christmas Promo is live

I was really looking forward to getting King Winter but I'm pretty underwhelmed. Only two visible tasks 12h and 24h, neither of which I use, and his cave doesn't appear to be animated when he's doing an indoor task there.

i got the update but then had like 2 tasks for kang and now absolutely nothing more. Am i missing something?

If you literally only had 2 tasks, then you are missing something. There were 5 parts to the Christmas Promo quest line:

This is a random nitpick, but I really wish Ice Princess Martin's 8hr task (Showing off the Sparkles on his Dress), was an animated task.

He would wander the town, twirling around, showing off the sparkles on his dress, instead of twirling around the aisles of the Kwik-E-Mart, annoying Apu while he works his 8hr shift. :D

So tomorrow is the big day...any idea on start time?

Not for me. I did 3 tasks, after doing the second it gave me the alien ship then the third task was him fighting over Halloween and Christmas and then it ended. It said "final task complete" with the fireworks and everything.

my guess is when the countdown timer hits 0 on the items from the promo.

That's a perfect description of his 1 hour task ("Sing His Cares Away"). @OhHappyJays :smile:

That seems unlikely, as a big event (with snow) would require a in-store update.
