- they should sell a bell to collect from all buildings at once
it could cost up to 200 donuts and I bet people would buy it - I think it's a good idea, even if I wouldn't utilize it each time. if I were busy and wanted to go in a quickly collect (mainly for the XP at this point) then I could use a collect all button. Other times, I like to tour around my town, see what I still like and what I want to change. Town building with characters is why I love this game, not just tapping.
- I agree with collecting and setting all to characters but not collecting all from buildings, what then will your neighbours have to tap?
- I would like a collect all button, but it might make people's games crash, and knowing the caliber of programmers EA hires I wouldn't expect optimizations any time soon.

drumnman, read your sig. ;)
Also, I reiterate, untask/task characters. They slip by you when you're scrolling through your town. Besides, buildings are for neighbors. House farmers can put in the effort for their cash crop eyesores. - If EA does this I would miss all the cool screenshots people get of inadvertent character interactions. Let's face it, you put this in you will lose nine tenths of those as everybody will choose the "easy" way so generally never scroll through their Springfields.
I kind of find the whole notion sad anyway. It is part of the modern notion that if something takes more than two seconds it is worth doing. Not everything needs a big "Press to Win" button attached to it. No, how others play this one game doesn't necessarily affect me. How our society is plunging down the "Easy Mode" rabbit hole does affect me. So people have to spend a few minutes actually paying attention to something, what is wrong with that? - anaquarindNew SpectatorWhile I would like to have this feature, I think EA intended for us to go through our town at a measured pace so that we are always forced to look at it and re-think it. The rationale for that would be that if we are all always looking at our town we will think of ways to improve it and stay interested in it.
It's the same idea of tapping your neighbours. I sorely wish I could just have a "visit all" button, but EA wants you to look around at your neighbours while searching for things to tap. That way you may find something you want to do in your town (and from EA's perspective, perhaps buy some of the premium items).
I don't house-farm because I hate the way it looks. If there were a collect-all button, I would probably would house-farm since I don't have to look at it. I can only speak for myself, but I would probably have less pride in my town if I didn't have to bother to look at it every few hours. - I like this idea, but I wouldn't use it. I like having lots of tappables for my neighbors. The other thing is, I hate having the screen bogged down with icons. I want to see my town. This game is great because the icons are relatively small, but I wouldn't want to keep adding them. Using a building for this type of function would solve that though.
And Neuro, are you still playing Tribez? I quit once they forced fb on us. They even knocked all my friends off since I refuse to log into a game through fb. - 4junk3000New SpectatorDo you people not expect the level of difficulty to increase as you advance in levels? How else can increase difficulty in a game with one, sole action: TOUCH THE SCREEN.
They can't make you tap it harder. You can't tap it more than once at a time. You can only tap it more frequently.
So no, they are not going to add a function that countermands the level of difficulty required for advanced levels.
Unless it made you spend money.
So would you still want a Collect All function if it cost 10 donuts each time?
If so, go ahead and start a petition thread which will illustrate what percentage of people would fork over real life money for it. If 50% of the forum users indicate they would spend 10 donuts per Tap All, I could imagine they would consider it.
Otherwise, you are just suggesting something that is CONTRARY TO THE VERY NATURE OF THE GAME. They WANT you to be tapping a whole bunch!
In America at least, "tapped out" is a euphemism meaning "exhausted". It is a pun and double entendre: exhausted from tapping.
If you don't want to tap so much, just nuke the town. Problem solved.
Clamoring for ways to make it easier, at the highest level of the game, is indeed being lazy. I have to agree. If you don't like it, don't play a game called Tapped Out.
