Anyone figure out why the event prize icon bounces (trophy with knives)

There are three mutant conrns:

Shorter light with a yellow-green "hair"
Tall normal color with yellow-orange hair
Tall dark with red-green hair

Can't be- I've had none of this and it started at the event beginning.....
I'm going with the freak us out plan.

I don't know exactly when it started but it was before the mutant corn appeared in my town (I think it was after Monsarno was completed buildg wise but it's not a flag for "cecil task done" or "people are done on their 8 hour fertilizer task" or "update your building to level two"

Other than freak us out or hey pay attention to me, am speculating that maybe it will stop once all prizes for this act are earned? Will take some time to disprove that though ;)

I only noticed it bounce once that I can remember and I could have sworn I had earned some of the event currency when it happed. Will pay more attention to it.

Edit: I watched it for a few minutes. It bounces every 20 seconds. It's probably just a reminder for us to click it to see our progress as all the event related tasks and prizes are in there. And to freak us out. Thanks for the thread now I constantly look at it.

Okay, johncolombo, I am now officially intrigued. A few weeks ago, in an OT thread, you stated (and I quote) "I go to weddings for a living." I had no idea what kind of living someone would make going to weddings.

Then, 2 days ago, when this event first went live, and some were impatient to start, you mentioned (again, I quote) "I'm self employed." .... "Waiting for my accountant to show up."

And now, today, we discover that you watched a bouncing trophy icon for a few minutes closely enough to calibrate its movement pattern ... Every 20 seconds ...

Questions:

1. What is the job title for "going to weddings for a living" ? (My daughter's wedding is in 10 days. I hope none of the people going to her wedding expect to get paid.)

2. Do you itemize? Do you declare the meals as a business expense? Does your accountant approve of that? Is the cake extra?

3. Were you watching the bouncing icon during an actual wedding?

4. If the answer to #3 is in the affirmative, is there a trick to being sure nobody notices you're playing TSTO while at the wedding? Because I just know I'm never going to complete all 4 of Cecil's tasks that day, and then I'll be totally behind schedule, so I need advice because I rarely go to weddings at all, though if the pay is good, I may reconsider.
