No, you just have to delete them as they come.

I dont find it rude since they may just be lurkers and not members. But I too have a "message me first " in my sig so it is a bit of a p!ss off.What I hate more is neighbours added without me adding them and then being unable to delete them! Im up to 5.

It's getting frustrating I get on average 3-4 people wanting to add me everyday and I don't know who they are. Most people on the forum know to pm each other first, that's what makes me even more peed off, slowing my device down to.

Ah thank you! It appears this isn't something that will work on my iPad, so I guess I have to drag my laptop out of the closet tomorrow. Funny I have this giant 19 inch laptop that I needed for work at one time, and I barely touch it now!

Yes that Origin software will run on Windows and Mac OS X but not iOS...you'll have to pull out your laptop.

Haha thanks, I don't mind people adding me aslong it's a pm. But ATM I've got a few people to add I've known for a while but can't because invites keep coming in. Lol

A lot of people lurk in the forum (being it a public forum) and don't have accounts here, so they look for people who post and send invites, its the nature of the beast my friend, no way to stop it you just have to delete/decline them!

Anyone I don't know gets declined easy, just don't do what I did and leave it for more than a couple of days otherwise the invite list can get rammed and take ages to clear down lol

I think the most sensible thing is when anybody adds a friend the code should check if there is space on that person's friends list and if there is not then cancel the request without the other person being affected.

To me this is basic logic.

What I find a wee bit annoying is that it would be quite nice to have some of the friends changing. I don't really want to cull people. Also as an android user I can only remove people by blocking them on origin. Which is extreme and I may sure having a big blocked list would one day cause a problem.
