Are you dropping gift bags?

I'm only getting between 45-50 a day just by opening gifts. I drop one per town I visit each day until I run out.

I was buying them and giving 3-4 daily to every neighbor, now I am going to do the best I can.maybe alternate days.

There doesn't seem to be a point in keeping them. You can't open them and take the prize and I enjoy trying to hide them in my neighbors Springfield. Like everyone else I never have enough for everyone so I choose neighbors that always play, not just the Christmas event people that I never see any other time of the year. I still have two neighbors that either haven't updated their game or they haven't bothered to try to visit and therefore don't even know the Christmas event is happening.

The gift bags don't have a lot of gift cards though. It's just 2 or 3. By tapping on your neighbors buildings you get 10 cards per tap. That's 30 per town, with 100 friends it's 3000 cards a day. That's where the big boost in your gift card total comes from.

Also if a neighbors puts their landing tree all the way in a corner away from anything to tap on, no gift bags for you! One year!

I drop them off, but there is no routine that I follow. I give them out how I want. One day I start at the beginning of my neighbor list...the next I may start at the end. I might just reciprocate one day...the next time I may give it to those who haven't giving me any. One day I might give to low collection numbers of neighbors...the next round of drops might go to high collection numbers of neighbors. There is no method to my madness. :)

I'm fairly new also, I have about 20 neighbors and collect enough to give each 1 a days and some get another. It is fairly simple to keep track as I give one to the ones with 5 when all gone start with the 4's never reached 3 yet

Hi Betty, I'm one of your neighbour and drop bags every 2-3 days when I have enough to go around, just as a tester I have dropped you 2 bags out of my rounds for tomorrow, however I looked around your town and you have 5 bags near your tree, 5 on squidport, 2 near Springfield mall. 1 outside Chanel 6 and a couple between houses. Can you see them ? I wonder if its a glitch because I don't recall any from you, and I'm sure you have dropped some, the elfs could have unwrapped them without me seeing depending where you leave them.

I do my best to leave bags I just don't get enough of them to spread to all my neibors and it sucks. I give bags to the ones that drop them I'm my town first then I do my best to spread out the rest bags just seem hard to find.

I do believe it means that 1 neibor hasn't updated. Try the friends section of the forum to get ya more neibors. :-)

I get all kinds of gift bags. But I have some pro neighbors , also I drop 5 at a time, right on the tree , that way people seem to remember me. I got a token in one today! Purple house lights. Also I have three brown houses in all three directions of my tree, making it real easy for my friends to get in and get out. One of my friends dropped five in the water. I went right to their town and did the same.
