There is but one Skyfinger and She is Maggie. All other Skyfingers are reflections of the One Great Maggie, therefore all other Skyfingers are Maggie.

Just got to this wonderful clip.
All I can say is that I'm no Lenny. I've been playing from the start and I still love this game.

I totally agree. I've been playing TSTO since just before Whacking Day and this is one of the best things I've ever seen in the game.

Maggie is the Starchild and she taps the monolith which becomes a phone (or tablet). Many interpret the Starchild from 2001: A Space Odyssey to represent evolution, in the book this is more clearly stated. So Maggie/Starchilds appearance would indicate the game is changing into something more. Perhaps something we could never imagine.
