from the perspective of the person dropping the balls you can't choose where they drop (ie I was aiming for burns mansion and the town scrolled me to the high school (about 3 land blocks away)- - so we can't set up a zone for people to aim at unfortunately -- I think that the balls are coded as characters so if you hide all buildings/decos/ and roads it might be easier to find them. (they bounce slightly but they are smaller than the Egg Council NPC from Easter and harder for me to spot than the fans).
I still don't know if the balls expire (ie if I don't tap the balls in my town will they still contribute to the community prize? is there a timer? is there a limit to how many in a town?
