No, they are not taken from your egg count. They put in 100, the system gives them 50 opposite back and you get the 100 in the basket. When 4 people have left eggs, you get a nice 400 eggs back

Not sure tbh, When i have given say 100pinks eggs and then i get back 50 blue eggs so technically i'm losing out unless other people fill up the basket of course then it kinda balances out
Yeah, this is whats going on. You pay 100 and get 50 back. Its used to get your uncommon color. The sytem doesnt give you anything.
This is why i am only using the free baskets that appear, seems a total waste of donuts buying these baskets
