@larsyuipo only an hour at a time, same as past sales. The two times are to show the item is going to be up for sale two times twelve hours apart.

Couple of things to buy toward the end, but not a lot I don't have. Kumiko or Father Sean would have been awesome - hint, hint EA, I'd really like Father Christmas to make them available.

Couldn't agree more about donuts. Unless there's a huge change-up in the game, I don't foresee myself buying donuts for my "A Town" - I've been lvl 939 since the May 18 "Great Level Up" & I'm rarely below 1000 donuts.
That said, I *do* still buy the occasional donut for my "B Town" - for those items that just aren't offered that often, such as Boobarella.

Ugh!!!!! Still no Mayan calender!!!!! I was hoping it would be a black Friday item since it wasn't in the THOH. I have been keeping a minimum of 300 donuts in the bank for 2 years since I missed it the last time it was available. :s

What happened if I already got that unique item that is offered on that hour? What would be offered or would the previous item goes for two hours?

This is a pretty disappointing selection. The only thing I would get is the Don, but otherwise, I really wanted to see people like Hank Scorpio, Duffman, Jasper, Manjula, Arnie Pye, Bumble Bee Man, and Rich Texan offered with a rebate.
