boatload of donuts...canadian price

I bought my first and only boatload back in December, before the price went up in January, and it came up to $112.99 if I remember right (that's including the tax). But after the $21 price increase, my best guess would be somewhere around $132.99. Hope this helps.
  • I haven't bought any donuts since the price went up 20%. It's too high for me to justify now.

Thank you nissa. About $140 i need. I got about $75 in game cards so its all good. I remember my last boatload was 99.99 + tax but that was around the stonecutters event. I'm use to throwing $200 a month on both games but i quit playing FG:TQFS for many reasons so i'm solely premium here only & will save lots of money.

No problem, sorry I couldn't get you exact price. Not too familiar with taxes in Quebec and which ones will apply.

Last time I checked the exchange rate was 1 USD equaled .80 CAD. So a boatload should be $125 CAD before tax.

Looks like I am heading up north for some reasonably priced produce!!!

You are most welcome anytime neighbour! Farmer's markets are in full swing.

Actually, I had that backwards  I mixed up the GBP (Great British Pound) and the CAD (Canadian Dollar).

1 USD equals 1.25 CAD. So if it cost $100 dollars in the US then the same thing would cost $125 in Canada.

Sorry to get your hopes up Jim
  • the price depends on the tax of the province you live in.

to find out the total cost take the price of the donuts and multiply by 1.xx where xx is the tax percentage for your province.

No you were right first. It's the other way $100 US will buy you $125 goods in Canada, i.e. cost you $75 US for $100 CAD. 25% discount!

ETA: we may be saying the same thing.... I need more coffee :). Time to end this thread for me :).
  • Not sure how things work in Canada, but have you tried buying Amazon gold coins and using the coins to purchase donuts? Don't know if this is just a Kindle-related benefit but occasionally Amazon gives you a 20% discount on gold coins so I purchased my boatload for just $80 USD.
