I believe they eventually get to $17,500 with a 3 1/2 day build time before you're done with them. I don't see what is wrong with them costing fake money, since literally every item you build or buy in the game costs either cash or donuts.
I mean really you don't think $17,000 for a little square is ridiculous when you're just starting out? And even so it just makes no sense. Plus 2-3 day build when most building are only 24 hours? Come on.
It's not that I want everything handed to me. I have patience. I've gone weeks and months without buying buildings and such to accumulate money. This is just a matter of purposely being annoying.
