Can't buy anymore ocean land

It seems as though you have bought all the plots that you can out into the ocean from Squidport, although the ocean runs lengthways from Springfield all the way into SH. More info about plots and costs can be found here:

  • But I've seen towns with ocean land farther out. Maybe I should clarify that the 2 squares from land includes the one that touches sand.

So it's beach/water (where you can move the port entrance along the beach) and then another square with of water.

Shouldn't I be able to be at least 3 out? Pretending I just stored every boardwalk piece. Squidport entrance - water- water?

Edit, I checked some friends towns and maybe you're right. I thought it went farther out. There is still ocean for sale but just going out from the mountains like usual, not out away from Springfield.
  • From what you have posted I think that you have all the ocean that's currently available, there are quite a few posts on here asking for more ocean as it's definitely getting crowded out there these days I myself would love about 2 more strips of ocean if for nothing more than to move to Krusty oil rig further out from land as it looks daft so close to land.
  • Ya I wanted to make 1 nice central Squidport. Not just a really long one stretching across the map.

Well I can still make a nice one but not what I was thinking.
  • Hopefully it won't be to long before they let us buy some more ocean as I'd love some myself too.
  • The world is flat and if you went any further out in the water, you'd fall off the edge and into space forever. That's why you can't buy more water - it doesn't exist.

    Everyone knows that...sheesh.

Well if that's the case then can we please dig up the first 2 strips of land so that they flood and become part of the ocean. :D

Sounds reasonable and less expensive than most defence contracts.
