Double-utf? I can understand accepting non-mainstream cultures, but what does chicken fingers have to do with anything, especially the questline...!?

Probably because they don't want to further enrage the fanbase. They did enough damage with the goat heads and sculptures in Act 1 and we have enough junk coming up this act, so maybe they're trying to go a little easy.
