Is the Christmas houses for Simpsons, flanders and everyone a seperate house or does it replace the regular houses?

If they are seperate/new houses, I'm gonna need more land..;)

Yep, after 10 hours for Flanders the next task is Homer and Lisa pretending to skate for 10 hours. It seems like those not using doughnuts to speed things up will barely get anything decorated by Christmas!

I got the Xmas update about 8 hours ago but now I keep getting the "can not connect to server" message. Very frustrating. I suppose all I can do is keep trying.

Can anyone tell us what needs to happen to go down the mapple store/Barney path? I have apu doing his 168 hour shift, and homer and Lisa just had to start pretend skiing.
What's next? (I want. Barney badly :-) )

BerwynEd, I have had the same issue for the last 12 hours. iPad 2, game stable previously, app store update installed quickly, internal update fully downloaded, and now nothing but "can not connect to server". What more appropriate way for TSTO to celebrate the holiday season?

I am on iPad 4/64. The download was fine and it looks to be dying on the synchronizing step. It starts and after about a second or two Gode to the can not screen. I wish there was something I could do on my end. When I get a chance I am going to load the game on someone else's machine and then see if I can log into my game that way to what I can see. Short of that I am stuck for ideas. It would be nice if EA would monitor these boards to let us know if its hopeless or not.

thanks for the idea. I do have an origin account and deleted the game and reinstalled. there were some confusing screens but it worked. As it was starting I got the screen that said "your other device did not log you off do you wnat to "play" or "cancel". after trying cancel a few times and getting the welcome screen that would take me back to the "play" or "cancel" screen I tried 'play' and I was in. So thanks and I hope this helps others.

some weird things, They make me send apu to do a 7 day shift ... make homer watch super monkey trauma or whatever it's called for 24 hours, lisa attend mensa meeting lmao where are the Christmas jobs lmao...nutcracker Bart is funny tough, how you get the decorations and lights? do i have to wait for a quest?
