Clash of Clones Event info

I hoping that everything I've been reading on this thread starts making sense once my castle finishes building lol, right now I am so confused! :lol:

Found shields. BTW, was able to attack a Spinster City Apartments. But not Bachelor Arms. (Girls rule. Boys drool.)

So, if homes (including the ones you listed) are the only buildings that can be attacked, this is gonna be real tricky for those trying to accommodate 100 neighbors ... Right?

Since Gamer started the thread, I'm taking the liberty of showing my view of Gamer's town when I visit it. At the top left, it tells me that I have my traditional 3/3 actions, plus 5/5 attacks available. So visits/attacks can be in combination or separately. .

How much gold do you get for attacking/defending? If you clean your shields more quickly you get more gold (like you did with stonecutter pyramids timer)? If your opponent cleans your nerds more quickly you get less gold? Just to know if I have to clean my shields as fast as possible, if I have to send all nerds to a single building or spread them amongst enemies, and if having a housefarm is an advantage or a disadvantage (if you get gold from defending then a big housefarm is a good thing imo, especially if you can be randomly raided by non-neighbors).

Edit: do you also get more gold if you revenge rather than going to regular neighbors? if the amount is the same I don't think I'll bother revenging all the time.

GETTING NERDS:
1. How do we get nerds, other than the castle generating them?
2. How often does the castle generate them?
3. If I upgrade the castle, it raises the max limit in my town, but does it also generate more?
4. Does each castle generate nerds?
5. Do I ever earn nerds from visiting my friends?
6. Do I earn nerds when my friends visit me?

Bloody hell! Why such a confusing event!? Surely you need to keep some nerds aside in order to revenge? I spent all 40 of my nerds on my neighbours cos all the random neighbours were already under attack and I got bored of load time between neighbours... :shock: :?: :shock:

Once the 16h build for the Barbarian Castle completes, it opens up the event. Give your neighbors some time to get the update and get that built. We've got 48 days of this event people, so I don't think we'll be hard pressed to unlock all of the prizes before its over.

1. Can only get them from castle/s (not sure whether the other two castles generate them)
2. I believe every two hours or so, depending on upgrades.
3. Pretty certain it does.
4. Not sure yet, sorry!
5. No, visiting friends has stayed the same, you can now visit them and attack them!
6. No, you earn in game currency.
I may be wrong, if I am I'm sorry, but this is what I know thus far.

Does anyone know how to use a Cheaters 20 to defend their town? I'm stuck on it :(

Most of my neighbors just don't have the castle built yet. I rushed it in my excitement of getting an event.
