General Skywalker (and his bug) and P4 of Clash on Kamino

I'll start this post by saying I am using the following 117k team for P4.

Asajj R7
B1 R5
B2, Magna and Droideka are all G12.

However, with the current General Skywalker bug (retaliating before going into cover), I have been unable to kill Anakin, only twice ever having him 1 red bar left - ultra frustrating.

A guildmate mentioned in discord that this event is actually now harder than before when the first and second Clash on Kamino's were held DUE ENTIRELY to the BUG. I cannot validate that as this is the first time I am ready for Phase 4, but they assure me it's more difficult this time.

My question is ... if I miss out on General Skywalker, due to this bug, as I've seen far smaller teams complete the phase on videos - should EA/CG give me my GENERAL SKYWALKER? Or because of their bug they aren't fixing I miss out on keeping up with the SWGOH universe.

Disgruntled and jaded after over 8 hours of attempts ... come on CG fix the bug or make the event easier because you cannot code correctly and introduce bugs into important character events.

    With those gear levels, you are not losing entirely due to the bug. Try rethinking your mods and strategy, that has worked for many people on these forums the past few days.

    Bro, I totally take your point, and if i'd posted this as soon as event started or after 2 attempts - fair call, however the amount of remodding and strategy I've already done in my 8 hrs (maybe more now) of attempts ... makes me think RNG is the only factor, OR the BUG... OR I am the unluckiest mofo in Kamino!!

    I got frustrated with this too, so I tried my best to make sure an assisting out of turn character knocked him down to cover, like b1 or droideka deployed, so he doesn't counter attack.

    Well, considering there isn't even a bug, i am going to go with its your mods/strategy. Go read the 10 other threads about this, they are filled with players who made it through.

    Funnily enough 8 minutes after posting this, my Asajj just ripped him a new one - IMO (probably couldn't use IMHO) totally RNG based event which is frustrating. So I don't think it's strategy or mods ... just whether you get the right RNG with Droideka assists, B2 extra turns ... and finally Asajj stunning G$.

    To me, modding made all the difference for this event; particularly in P4. Here is the team i used:

    • zzAsajj R5
    • zB1 R6
    • zB2 G12+3
    • zDroideka G12+2
    • Magna G12+1


    When i first tried the event with the mods that I normally keep on them, i was struggling to kill even a single clone; i could get GAS into cover most attempts but could rarely clear Fives before coming out of cover; then definitely wouldn't last through second cover.

    Then I changed my mods around; major changes were as follows:

    • Remodded Droideka with my fastest Offense set and made him go first
    • B1 I kept with a speed set and he goes second
    • Asajj was modded for offense and health, speed doesn't really matter for her
    • Magna and B2 I focused on Health and gave them Crit Avoidence arrows rather than speed arrows


    After the remod, I immediately noticed a difference in the teams performance and I cleared it on the fourth try and it honestly didn't even feel like pure lucky RNG. The mods and turn order definitely made the difference; you mainly just need Droideka hitting like a truck!

    That advice on the mods you provided is GREAT, and follows what I used (under advice from Guildees) ... the only difference to your advice is I ended up making Asajj fast, high offense and potent... the stuns really helped when I stun locked G$ like in AhnaldT101 video.
