Classic Mini Events

I saw this too and it had a picture of Homer in his space suite floating around. I'm thinking the space shuttle again.

This could be a red herring, or maybe LPN just picked up a random picture for Topix, but Astronaut Homer is shown in a picture relating to information about the classic events..... maybe a chance for me to get the rocket??.... I'd like a chance of having mini games that win stuff... :smiley:

I think I'm up to 7 warheads from the rocket and 3 or 4 from lisa's high wire task.

The casino event was a major event so, if the name is any indicator, I don't expect that stuff to be included.
Speaking of casinos, I'm shaking my head at EA for trying to sell that Woodstock Casino for 75 donuts without adding a multiplier. That's crazy. I was going to get it because Edna has a 6hr job there but there's no way I'm paying that price.

That is pricey! I don't remember what it was when I got it but it has been in storage until this event. It finally will fit with things in my town that makes sense now.

I hate to think what EA is going to charge for the black leather plane when they sell it later on in the event. They likely won't add a multiplier to that either.

I mentioned elsewhere that it's the 90D for Springfield Bowl that gets me... no multiplier on that either, but do they justify that one with the higher payouts for characters that perform there?...

It does have super-premium payouts although not many are very useful and they can't be rushed. I had a spell of sending Quimby there but fairly soon got bored of the extra effort and stopped using it.

Ralph is on it overnight as it pays more than his 8hr task, then he usually spends the day 'practicing' on a road in front of it whilst either Nelson plays the guitar or Chalmers breaks character, that way when I clear him as I clear my town of 60m tasks, he clears the bowl and I can reset.. Then other times when longer tasks are required, I may send CBG or Quimby or Burns...so it's been useful for me
