It's buggy. Like many other parts of the game, you often have to force quit the app to get it to register. And even then it won't register until the next time you reopen the app and harvest it yet again.

    You're right - that worked perfectly. And I had to re-plant, but the harvest completed the quest. Thank you!

    12 months on and the problem remains, and occurs again in other people's games. No donuts for me till this is fixed.
