Clouds over the Front Range

Glitchfield Heights has clouds over its mountains.

(And I don't think Springfield is in Colorado or Wyoming  )

Look much better with the clouds and seems they could have left them over both. Now the tunnel mountains look like the Hogback!

Well not really, but have always suspected Denver influenced SF to some degree. From early in the series I associated the Mayan with the Aztec and and now the new "Eisenhower" tunnel makes me wonder just a little more

Maybe, but I think if that tunnel was supposed to be the Eisenhower tunnel, it would take up the entire screen!

(For all the people here who do not live in Colorado, the Eisenhower tunnel is a little over a mile and a half long.)

Also, we don't have any bodies of water even close to what's on the south side of Springfield. Early explorers called this area of the country the Great American Desert. Flying over Colorado and surrounding states makes it clear why they did. It's a brown place where it isn't being irrigated.

I figured the SH's tunnel was bigger on the inside ;)

and yeah, the water is a big diff, greener this year though
  • I do miss the clouds, in my perfect world they would have left them and 2 strips of mountain range also, looks a bit skinny and regular, but I'll get accustomed to it eventually

If you have any friends that haven't updated to SF Heights yet, when you visit their town you can scroll up to where SF Heights WOULD be, and it's aaaalllllllllll mountains and clouds, you can get your whole screen full of just mountains and clouds. It's wonderful

Skinny and regular is good description. Went and checked un-updated friend down and that does look awesome. Understand why they limited width, but can't imagine some little fluffy clouds would make all that much difference.

Condos and such in SH are so huge that it really dwarf the original mountains now.

Are you saying that the mountains are only 6 inches wide?? The parking structure is bigger than the mountains and the tunnel.

Guess I'm trying to make a mountain out of a molehill, and clouds would help!
