My only gripe about ClownFace is why did he suddenly become a 'good guy'? I mean, we can all guess and make up our own stories but I like it when the game gives me a storyline to follow. Was he originally under the control of the mind ray? And then he broke free of that control? If so, why wasn't there any dialog or other character exposition explaining this?

It was just ... really really annoying. Go to bed one eve and he's a bad guy robbing banks, wake up the next day and he's a good guy that battles felons?!?! No explanation for the behavior change whatsoever.

someone did come up for a story for that, if I see it again , I'll link it here for you.

I think they could've done a lot more plot-wise with this event. It's like one panel every 4 days.

This event has the worst storyline out of anything in the game so far. The rest is great though.

If you look back at the walkthrough, both Clownface and the Collector mention that they were affected by a Mind Control Ray when they first showed up, and Dr Collossus mentioned that he purchased and used that Ray. Presumably its effects are now wearing off, so they're fighting him now.
