Constant completition sound fix

I tried the solution about storing the nerds.
Luckily I didn't have to hunt them down as I had them doing a task together. As soon as all 3 nerds were stored, the screen with the gold box prize popped up, it had a token to use, I "purchased" my nerds and the continuous chime had stopped.
Then I pulled my nerds out of storage and was finally able to continue to play again without annoying sound or lag.

What a relief. Took ages to get to the town hall to find the characters but after that all fixed straight away.

I wonder how in the world someone figured out the fix in which the University Nerds had nothing to do with the Thanksgiving update ? A great mystery and an even better fix ! Our thanks go out to you friend whoever you are ! :smiley:

No I'm not 100% sure on this but think that I read they found it by accident as they decided to nuke their Springfield and when they did the nerds box appeared for them and the sound stopped, so then they either tried storing the nerds on a second account or got a friend to test if to try and confirm the link between the sound and the nerds.

they re part of the boxes. probably cause they are a three pack it glitches out and makes it fix
