Crashing.
I had this issue recently. It was caused by too many decorations. How decorated is your town? How many snake logs/stumps/rocks/speakers? Have you logged in today to collect rent and complete task...

Just because I don't have a lot of whacking day stuff, I do have tons of tree's, bushes, flowers, fences and such. I have all land unlocked and it's mostly all developed out. I've tried it on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy S3, Motorola Xoom and my PC (through Bluestacks). The devices are pretty good hardware but not the latest and greatest of what's available.
I think youre going to need to find a proper good computer and try to run it through bluestacks on that.
