- I'm currently at 12k something, spend some donuts on that wheel which got me some gift cards, but overall just having a great friends who actually leave you presents and visiting them to return the favor. I don't have 100 of them, but currently about 80ish.

I've recently been adding friends and noticed a fair few of them have a very high number of gift cards, can i ask how they have so many? as im only at 3.5 thousand gift cards
thanks Pro_x_SHaNKeZ_x
I have over 11,100 cards, and to some of my friends who play, that seems like it's a lot, but if you have 100 friends and you visit them all plus the cards that you get from your town and gift bags, it ends up adding up extremely fast. I think you have to be more specific as to how many cards they have. If you said they have like 30k then I'd say they either spent doughnuts or cheated. :-)- Another way to get cards real fast is to visit all 100 friends for 3000 cards and then delete them all and get another 100 friends and collect another 3000 cards.
Keep repeating this and you'll soon have 30,000 ;) - I've got 46600 tickets now on my 2nd day of playing.
12 elf houses and a 1025% bonus helps a lot - So the bonus helps? I have only 110% or so, and I'm nearly at 10,000 with no speed-ups.
I did notice "Other Springfield" was at 12,000+ on day one... clearly a cheater! - darrenholm736Rising Newcomer

Not sure how 12 elf houses would help as you're only going to get the same amount of gifts collected, albeit by more elves.
Also, the multiplier doesn't count towards gift cards - you still get the same amount from presents and tasks. darrenholm736 wrote:

The elf houses give me gift cards and gift bags regardless of whether I have any presents/bags in my town. The amount I receive doesn't seem to vary significantly. So having more houses will help, if you release the elves when you've already collected everything.8injoe wrote:

Does bonus work on gift cards?
I ask because it certainly doesnt work on the 75 gift card prize from each of my 3 christmas trees.....
havent checked to see if it works on gift cards from jobs.....- i will go over 10000 today and I have 60 friends that I visit every day. Using the elves to find hidden cards has made my life easier. Feel free to add me if you would like.

Elf Houses get you about 50-60 Gift Cards with each tap
Plus you get about 5 gift bags (not presents) with each tap as well.
This is on top of the fact they will also pick up gifts hidden by neighbours.
