I think the existence of Quest For Stuff proves that EA cannot do a promotion for the Family Guy crossover. Besides, technically, The Simpsons Guy is a Family Guy episode guest starring the Simpsons. The Futurama crossover though, EA probably can use.

An episode tie in between FG and the Simpsons seems unlikely, since a) the episode will be a family guy episode, not a simpsons one and b) this was promised to be a major update that will drop in september. I dont see the Simpsons Guy tie-in very major.
