Haha, yes. I have come back to the game to buy a character.
I played for a year until I got bored with the game and busy in real life, so I gave it a rest. Now I'm interested in having Crazy Cat Lady, so I'll play again. Surely that's the point of the way this game is structured - if you want/have to, you can rest it. Real life sometimes takes over.
Usually I'm a very prolific player - particularly during events when I'm in and out of my neighbours towns every day. But to be honest I really didn't enjoy Valentines Day, even though I did complete the wheel, and I got busy with work (I'm self employed) so it seemed like a perfect time to have a hiatus.
The game works for me, not vice versa :-)
If Valentines Day made you stop playing for a while, then this event will make you quit playing for ever. Instead of one wheel, this event has three and the odds are worse than the previous ones.Ratman5674 wrote:
Maybe but that would be a lot of left over donuts.
Let's be fair one character will not get you playing the game again.
Why do you care? How does this interest you in any way?
Since you're obviously losing sleep over it, poor boy, I bought enough doughnuts in the Gil sale to keep me going for some time. I buy premium stuff that amuses me. I play this game for fun, and I play when I want to. If I fancy taking a break, I will. My doughnuts will be there when I return.
I don't think that's a difficult concept to grasp. Even for someone who refers to themselves in the third person.drumnman wrote:

I've just come back to TSTO after about 6 weeks away. I got a little bored of it. Anyway I came back because I heard Crazy Cat Lady had been added, but I don't seem to have her listed in my premium menu.
Was she a limited time only character?
So you come back to buy a character with real money for a game you don't even play anymore. Good idea.
Fail troll is fail.
If you are implying that Ratman is a troll you are so wrong.
I'm implying that you responded to the OP with no other purpose but to demean and disparage her. It was not only non-constructive, but has since hijacked her whole thread.
You, good sir, completely trolled the OP.

All Ratman did was ask if the op was going to come back and then buy this character.
Ratman blames society for this misunderstanding. You just assumed that Ratman was being sarcastic but Ratman wasn't so you are wrongdurarararara wrote:

Welcome to the forum. She's not a limited time character but has a limited time task throwing bunnies for the Easter event.
Thank you :-) Sounds like a good task.drumnman wrote:

Ratman is trying to help. Ratman hopes that this character will make you like the game again because you seem nice and it would be good to have you on the forum.
Ratman is not a troll.Ratman5674 wrote:

I admire you. Haven't been able to stop myself from spending way too much time on this game.
I started to get that way with all the events, but then realised it wasn't fun anymore. To be honest the FP thing annoyed me. I want to visit friends' towns when I want to, not because I'm being forced to to get 'stuff'.- Ratmans tip of the day. When in doubt blame society.
But ratman had a reason too. LisaC666 wrote:

At least you didn't let it ruin your life! ;-)
