Crazy Cat Lady/Ms Claws

Question

I have had Ms Claws driving the cat sleigh for weeks now. After today’s update the 12 hour job is no longer available. I loved having 4 things flying over my town. Any ideas if it will be back. Why have a cat sleigh if no-one can fly it especially in December.

Suspect that it has something to do with the new event that will start later today and will probably return to normal after the event finishes, could be caused by a bug introduced with the update or done deliberately.
