My new sims save is crazy

So I made a new save, my legacy founder was to only make money of tips she got while playing violin, it was a tough start. After 6 hours of gameplay and multiple failed making music attemps she got pregnant and had twin boys. Now the crazy really started, the nanny who called me and asked if I needed help did no work what so ever, and after many many days where my sim was exhausted I had enough. My sim was at work, both twin infant screaming and nanny in the bath, I had enough, I cheated kill bunny to kill her off, only to have my sim come home from work, unable to stop the prompt, she got killed instead and my legacy ended after only 6 hours :#

Anyone else had anything crazy like that happen in game?
  • Oh I had no idea @Lenny_Ogg And here I was thinking I was a veteran simmer :D
  • I fell into this trap, too!

In my case it happened when I tried to get revenge on the repolady after she had raided the tent camp of a household of poor and smelly challenge sims. Lesson learned, from that point on I only ever kill with MCCC.

The sim that was accidently killed by the bunny later rose as a vampire and participated in the challenge till its end. He had a daughter (with another vampire), got cured of vampirism and eventually settled down with his love interest.
  • I did the same mistake many times - although I knew the active sim would get killed. It's so easy to forget. And not-saving is the only way out.
  • @EnkiSchmidt Good to hear it's not only me who has made this mistake :D Your sim ended up having a really interesting life story :)

@Simmerville Yes if I ever dare to use that command again I will have to save right before just incase ;)

I have never used that cheat. I would have just fired the nanny, and if she was in the other households deleted her.
  • @kiwi84, was it the Growing Together Stay over prompt that asks if you need help? If so, when they get to your sim's house, you can welcome them and ask them to help out. At least you can when you invite a sim to stay over. I haven't had the nanny prompt so it may be different.

I've never used the bunny attack option but I'm glad this thread exists. Now I know to avoid that one. I don't kill sims too often though.
  • @SweetieWright_84 Yes it was the growing together stay over prompt that you get after having a baby. I did not know I could interact and actually ask them for help. And I usually never kill sims either, which explains why I was so bad at it when I tried ;)

I can't remember where the interactions are sorted for sure, but I think it's under friendly. It may not be sorted within the friendly menu.
