You get the "valentine card"-icon over the character (or the building if currently inside) and when tapped you'll see who is the sender...

I can get into AudioBrains town but there are no valentines for me to click on. It is the only town that I can access where that is happening.

Yes I have just been back to try get into more neighbours! I have noticed in around 4 towns I can get in but the only things available to click are the usual buildings... No cards! I guess the person whose town it is must have to collect their cards before anyone else can send them one to that character again???

Just a guess, anyway the towns I couldn't click cards I just left without tapping anything!

It looks like DCline and I came to the same theory at the same time (we posted the same thing in different threads at the same time.....creepy lol).....I think it's around 24 hours after you update that people can access your town. I updated around 830 last night so there are still 2 more hours to go.

If this theory holds true, then in about 2 to 3 hours people should be able to access my town.

Same here, I tried Neo, but no luck.

I wish i could at least get on to at least try.

I can visit 11 friends now but one didn't have any cards. I guess ea is working it out slowly but surly.

Oh why oh why can't people get into mine :( :cry: maybe it has to be 24hrs from downloading the update? Which would make mine 3am uk time or about 3hrs from now lol

All day I haven't been able to login as long as I don't lose all the stuff I bought in the new update I won't be upset

I'm in to about 50% of my friends, definitely an improvement. And now that I'm getting some visitors, it's much easier to accumulate hearts. I noticed that some of my characters (rather than buildings) have Valentine's, which is cool. But I can't figure out how to give Valentine's directly to characters in my friend's cities. Anyone have any idea about that?

But do you know when they updated? Maybe they were one of the first ones? People can access your town around 24 hours after you update. So that means you can access them around 24 hours after they update.

It seems to be working this way but who knows for sure and why the heck would they even do this??

Definitely not working for me. I can visit some peoples towns, half the time they have no valentine's card available to tap. Also I have had the update for over 24 hours and I still have yet to receive one valentine in my town. I have over 30 friends on my friends list that are active, so I'm not sure what the issue is. But again, it's EA, there is always an issue.
