Update to those who offered words of wisdom and support...today I aquired the marshmallow dude....I am excited about this because I didn't think I could do it. Thanks EA for the flying feral beasts.....

I send Burns, Space Mutant and Suzanne on 4 hour task, fight 2x monsters (4x at 8am). Send kids on trick or treat (started event with 4, unlocked 2 more so 6 now) I haven't visited neighbours at all (sorry neighbours, just couldn't commit the time). I play every 4 hours of approx 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm, then wait until morning and start cycle again (with occasional extra visit thrown in if I'm awake late). Doing this I seem to get about 5,000 film each day.
With 5 days to go I've unlocked Space Marshmallow and am now on first bonut round.
I've bought with obols about 8 fence/wall items, 2 bats and the cave? thingy. I haven't bothered upgrading as early on realized it was slow going so used the prize track for film to get MAG points and save my obols for the dearer items.
I've found this event slow for obols but easy for film.
I don't have Burns the vampire to send out nor do I have Suzanne I started with one trick or treater Bart nor do I have any buildings that produce film
