This is Springfield after all. It doesn't have to be like real life.
Heck I've seen people have the Laramie Vending Machine in the Elementary School. Getting to them early lol.
My jail is next to Sir Put-A-Lots
 I've done that in my town - It might even be worth noting that in the 6th season episode "The PTA Disbands", the effort to raise money for the school led to prisoners being held inside the school. At the end, the school was briefly renamed 'Springfield Elementary School and Prison', if memory serves. Recall Snake behind the bars installed on a coat room, whispering to Bart sitting at a desk to help him break out.
- ROTFLMAO!
I grew up in a small town on the East Coast. The "jail" was attached to the police station, beside a diner, then a hairdresser. You walked past it everyday on you way to and from school. In the afternoon, the "prisoners" were out in the yard and kids would point and laugh. This was fun, but one day this kid starts hitting another kid and a big fight broke out. Cops come out and break it up and they ask what the fight was about.

Don't see that one too often, hitchhiking is how a lot of folks get to town.
Now this is one you see all the time, and mighty helpful too!

Yep, got a lot of that sign around- and yes it's a little surprising to see the hitchhiker sign...... Only near a couple places in the area..... But slightly worry some when you spot them sizzlefork wrote:
