I dont really have area's I just always prepare my town for the winter landscape which I love. I put up more X Mas trees, decorations etc. I also switch houses to the X Mas look so it all fits better with the landscape. I did also put the "snow" buildings in my river so that when it freezes it will look nicely as someone built them on the frozen river.
