I wonder if anyone else does what I do. I have two areas that I use specifically to switch out seasonal themes. I have a small town square like area in my Evergreen Terrace and a larger area across the street from my main shopping district. Both of which I add and remove seasonal items. Thanksgiving, Halloween, Valentines day, Christmas. I might make those areas into an outdoor Summer fair, festival, etc. Anyone else? I've done this since the beginning on the game.

I have an entire THOH island that stays put. I just like to decorate little town square areas to make them seasonal like how shopping centers do, etc.
Yeah me too! I have a huge Christmas Village, as ive been to a few older, somewhat "krusty" tourist traps in northern US states as a kid, so I remember them fondly. I add new Christmas stuff to it every year, once I close out my seasonal display in the Square.
Some of these Christmas tasks are great, especially Willie’s!
I also have a huge graveyard, a large Hogwart-style campus; Humbleton the haunted Victorian village, and Pagan Festival that is on display year-round for THOH seasonal items. I do want as many as possible unique features on the ground in my town.
But for Valentine's, St. Patrick's, Easter, Independence Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas; I decorate the Town Square and the Courthouse facing it. I've had these seasonal decorating duties in past careers so this is a fun way to re-experience that. I liked being the guy who set up dozens of christmas trees at the office. It made most people happier
