Does it matter which balloons you pop in KL?

I like to imagine that there are different values between each balloon and it's not pre-programmed to give you a certain amount, though obviously it's not the same value every time because we'd know that. I always pop any orange ones first, since it's my favourite colour, then the pinks since it's my second favourite colour, then the red because it's my boyfriend's favourite colour. Sometimes I pop blue or purple instead of red, if I'm in the mood.

I started playing Sideshow You when it became available. I've gotten donuts 9 times over the year plus, playing it at least twice a day. Don't know if that's typical or lucky, that's just been my experience.

Generally I just stick to the same three balloons in the lower right corner. Sometimes I get something good and sometimes I get 15 tickets. I've only been playing since the stonecutters event so I unlocked Krustyland a month or two ago. I just recently got 5 donuts and didn't realize what had happened till after I was dropped back to the map.

So if five days after starting TSTO, after a total of 10 games at sideshow Bob's, I win the donuts, then does my next guaranteed set of donuts come no later than my 310th try, or did that early win already account for the first 300, meaning I need to wait as long as a maximum 590 more tries?

I've been playing this game nonstop for over a year now, and visit Krustyland pretty regularly. I have two other towns where I visit it most days. I have won ONE time. 83 cents worth of donuts. Yay! 8)

I tap the same ballons just out of habit. I tap there twice a day. I just got my 5 doughnuts on 11/17/14. The previous date was 9/21/14. So I now expect another 5 in Feb. or about 3 months.

OK, so here's the question to set everyone twitching.

Let's ASSUME it's true that you get donuts every 300 tries. Does the counter reset to zero if you miss a day, like the Misery Box does? :shock:

I think some people may be confused about the 1 in 300 thing. I know I was at first.

If we have a 1% chance of winning, that means we win once every 100 games. I think talking about 300 balloons makes it more confusing than it has to be. We get 3 balloons per game, but that's pretty irrelevant. The point is, we should win donuts once every 100 games.

Since most people probably manage to play at least 2 games a day, that means we should be winning donuts once every 50 days.
